| Why did you decide to start this site? |
| Like most others I have been a long standing user of The Realm Online,
I have been to several "Game Help" sites in the past and (after a 3 year break) came
back to see that several of the sites had been abandoned (or did not have any current
information online). I had decided to take on the task of developing my own portal
after reflecting on all of the close friends and good times that The Realm Online has
brought me in the past and figured that I owed one of my favorite games this site...
I had created this site in February of 2006 after a few Game Help sites had shut down, and a large handful of people had left, I felt that the users of The Realm Online and the community as a whole needed a place with up to date information and resources in one centralized location. |
| Where do you recieve your content? |
| The majority of images are submitted through various users of The Realm Online. We allow users to actively participate in the development of RealmHQ by submitting ideas for new sections, graphics, and data for various pages. |
| Who retains the copyright of in-game graphics and artwork? |
| All in-game artwork and images are ©Norseman Games, the owners and developers of The Realm Online and do not belong to any individual(s). |
| Who has helped you developing this site? |
| Our credits page (see link in the right side of this page) contains names of any users who has assisted us on this site, please note that some users who submitted content who wish to remain nameless are not shown on this page and will not be given out to anyone (as it is an impossibility as emails are actively purged). |
| Where did you get the inspiration for your page titles? |
| I like to take inspiration for my design work from several of my loves and interests, especially movies. For example, inspiration for the title of the "Past Items" page was taken from the 1999 movie starring Brendan Fraser and Alicia Silverstone (swoon) which has the same name; it was figured that an incredibly hilarious movie with this title gave some insight to the attitude of several of our users (light and cheerful, yet sometimes naive), so it was decided that the name would fit in perfectly. |
